I just returned home from several awesome days with some wonderful photography friends. We do outings every year, this year we decided to do a fall outing as well as a spring outing. Its always fun getting together with everyone, this year we rented a cabin in Townsend and became one big happy, funny family. It's so much more fun than everyone having separate hotel rooms. I hope we do it this way from now on.
Although rut practically started before our eyes, the last 2 days were the best in the field. The first 2 days, too many people and not enough bucks. But once the rain came and the cooler temps rolled in, the bucks got that ole feeling and showed off and made their feelings know to the ladies. Saw a really awesome fight one night. A 1o pointer was the biggest boy this trip.
One day it was cloudy and rainy, so us girls headed to find some water with leaves. Tremont was the choice destination and it did not disappoint. I probably got my best fall photos this season on this trip and so ready to head back in a few weeks for more rut action.
